SUMMER’S END

September 9, 2013

Summer’s end. I’ve realized that this was a summer of exploration and adventure. I spent a lot of time on the road. I spent a lot of time not being in Omaha. And I spent a lot of time taking photos with my Pentax film camera. I added Washington, Oregon, South Dakota and Kansas to my list of explored states. I camped in deserts and forests. I saw spectacular live music. I visited friends, new and old. I found beautiful parts of the midwest that I never knew existed. I listened to loud music in my car with the windows down and drove tons and tons and adventured and captured things along the way. I spent good time with great people.

Here’s my summer, through 35mm film and iPhone snaps, in a nutshell:

Summer is sweet, but fall will be just as wonderful.
